Photo 1 → left dancer
Takes the left position in the first shot where both dancers are visible, and keeps that identity through every turn and crossing.
NEON Duo Dance puts any two people into the opening duo of A2O LITE's NEON. Upload one photo for the left dancer and one for the right dancer, and the AI follows the original routine, camera moves and timing to make a 15-second 16:9 dance video. No prompt and no filming.
Your photos decide who dances: friends, a couple, even a pet or a plush toy. The built-in NEON reference decides the steps, the cuts and the camera moves, so every clip matches the trend.
Generator
Upload Photo 1 for the left dancer and Photo 2 for the right dancer, pick a resolution and choose audio on or off. The routine, camera and timing are built in, so there is no prompt to write.
How it works
Four steps and about a minute of your time, then a few minutes of rendering.
You don't describe any dance moves and you don't upload a dance clip. The NEON routine is already inside the template.
Step 1
Pick a clear, single-person photo of whoever should take the left spot in the NEON duo. A standing photo that shows the face and outfit works better than a tight selfie.
Step 2
Add a separate photo of the second person. The two photos can come from different days, phones or cities; the NEON AI dance generator treats each one as its own appearance reference.
Step 3
Pick 480p, 720p or 1080p and switch audio on or off. The credit cost updates on the Generate button before you spend anything.
Step 4
Press Generate. Your 15-second NEON dance video renders in a few minutes and appears next to the tool, ready to watch to the end and download.
The upload order sets the roles. Get it right before you spend credits.
Takes the left position in the first shot where both dancers are visible, and keeps that identity through every turn and crossing.
Takes the right position in that same shot. The model is told never to swap or blend the two people.
Remove both photos and upload them in the opposite order. Nothing else changes: same routine, same camera, same length.
The routine
This is the reference your two dancers follow, beat by beat. Knowing it helps you pick photos that hold up in close-ups and wide shots.
0–1 s
A wide shot of an all-white studio with one dancer standing alone in the middle.
1–3 s
The second dancer leans out beside the first in a close two-shot. This is the frame that fixes who is left and who is right.
3–5 s
The camera tilts into an extreme close-up of an arm and hand sweeping through the frame.
5–7 s
The camera turns on its side for one beat, then cuts back to a wide shot of both dancers.
7–13 s
Side by side in a wide shot: matched steps, kicks, turns and high-and-low poses.
13–15 s
The camera pushes in to a close two-shot for the ending pose.
Because the routine has both close-ups and wide shots, a photo that shows the face clearly and the full outfit gives the best result in both.
Why people are suddenly putting two friends, a couple or two creators into the same K-pop opening.
NEON is the debut single of A2O LITE, a nine-member girl group from A2O Entertainment, the company led by producer Lee Soo-man. The group held its debut showcase in Goyang on October 12, 2026, and released NEON as a digital single at 6 p.m. KST on October 13. The 3:28 track was produced with Yoo Young-jin and Dem Jointz.
NEON reached No. 1 on Melon's Top 100 about 29 hours after release, which Korean media reported as the fastest climb for a rookie group's debut song since Melon changed its chart in August 2021. Fans singled out the sharp, synchronized choreography.
On October 15, Sunny, formerly of Girls' Generation, posted an AI-generated video of Lee Soo-man and Yoo Young-jin performing the opening of the NEON choreography as a pair, with the caption "Razor-sharp lines! Will you join M Countdown next week?" The clip spread quickly and drew replies from other K-pop artists.
That clip is the template for the trend: take the two-person NEON opening and recast it with two people you choose. NEON Duo Dance does exactly that, using your two photos instead of a rehearsal and a film shoot.
NEON Duo Dance is an independent AI video effect. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with A2O LITE, A2O Entertainment or any artist named on this page.
Every NEON Duo Dance clip is 15 seconds. You pay per second, so the only thing that changes the price is the resolution.
| Resolution | Credits per second | Credits per 15-second video | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 480p | 8 | 120 | Testing a pairing quickly before a sharper render |
| 720p | 18 | 270 | TikTok, Reels and Shorts posts |
| 1080p | 44 | 660 | The sharpest faces and outfits, or reposting on a big screen |
One 720p video costs 270 credits, which is exactly one video in a video pack. If a render fails, the credits go back to your balance automatically.
The photo decides how recognizable each dancer is. The routine never changes.
The original NEON opening is all white. Your dancers keep their own clothes, so contrasting outfits, say one in black and one in a bright color, make the duo easier to read on a phone screen.
Built for one job: put two chosen people into the NEON opening with as little effort as possible.
The NEON steps, cuts and timing are built into the template. You upload two photos and press one button.
Photo 1 stays on the left and Photo 2 on the right through every turn, so the dancers never swap faces.
The clip follows the NEON reference at normal speed, with its close-ups, sideways shot and wide footwork section.
480p, 720p or 1080p, billed per second, with the exact credit cost shown on the Generate button.
Leave audio off to add your own licensed music when you post, or switch it on to generate sound with the clip.
If you need to sign in or top up, your photos and settings are saved and the render starts when you come back. Failed renders are refunded.
The pairing is the story. These are the duos that work best for a NEON AI dance cover.
Two selfies from two cities become one synchronized NEON dance, a small reunion without a trip.
Announce an anniversary or just make your partner laugh with a NEON duo dance starring the two of you.
Open a joint video or a channel crossover with both creators dancing the NEON opening side by side.
Cast the birthday person and their closest friend, then drop the clip in the group chat.
Post your own NEON dance challenge entry with a friend, even if neither of you has learned the steps yet.
Cast your dog and cat, or two plush toys, as the NEON duo for a funny take on the dance challenge.
What each route takes, so you can choose the one that fits.
| Option | What you need | What you get | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEON Duo Dance (this page) | Two photos | 15-second AI duet that follows the NEON opening, camera and timing | About a minute, plus a few minutes of rendering |
| Filming a real cover | Both people in one place, a learned routine, a camera and a clean backdrop | Real footage of the two of you dancing | Hours to days of practice and shooting |
| Single-photo dance templates | One photo | One dancer only; no partner and no duo timing | A few minutes |
| General AI video generator with your own prompt | Photos, a written dance description and many retries | A dance, but rarely the NEON steps or camera moves | Varies; usually several attempts |
If you want the real thing on camera, film it. If you want the NEON duo look with two specific people today, NEON Duo Dance is the shortest route.
Clear limits, so nobody mistakes a fun clip for something else.
Your own clip
The generator above needs no prompt. If you have your own dance clip that you are allowed to use and a tool that accepts a reference video, these prompts are a good starting point.
Reference video + two photos. The same structure the template uses.
Use the reference video as the fixed motion, scene, camera and timing reference. Replace its two dancers with the adults in @Image 1 and @Image 2. Assign @Image 1 to the dancer on the left in the first frame where both are visible and @Image 2 to the dancer on the right. Keep the identities locked through turns and crossings; never swap or blend them. Keep each person's face, hairstyle, skin tone, body proportions, outfit and shoes. Use the photos as appearance references only. Follow the dance in its original order at normal speed: synchronized steps, arm accents, turns, kicks and high-and-low poses. Keep the stage, framing, camera movement and lighting. No extra dancers, no text, no logos, no watermark. Avoid merged faces, extra limbs and foot sliding.
Reference video + one photo, for when you only have one person.
Use the reference video as the fixed motion, camera and timing reference. Replace the main dancer with the adult in @Image 1, keeping their face, hairstyle, outfit and shoes. Remove the second dancer and keep the frame balanced around one performer. Follow the routine at normal speed with sharp arm accents, kicks and high-and-low poses. All-white studio, soft even light. No text, no logos, no watermark.
Two character images you own, such as mascots or OCs.
Use the reference video as the fixed choreography, camera and timing reference. Replace the two dancers with the characters in @Image 1 (left) and @Image 2 (right), keeping each character's design, colors, proportions and outfit consistent in every shot. The characters move with human-like weight and balance, feet grounded, in the same all-white studio. Keep the original order of the moves at normal speed. No extra characters, no text, no logos.
Casting, photos, length, price and what the template does.
NEON Duo Dance is an AI video effect that puts two people from your photos into the two-person opening of A2O LITE's NEON. The routine, camera and timing come from a built-in reference, so you only choose who dances.
Upload Photo 1 for the left dancer and Photo 2 for the right dancer, choose 480p, 720p or 1080p, set audio on or off and press Generate. The 15-second video is ready in a few minutes.
Photo 1 becomes the dancer on the left and Photo 2 the dancer on the right, starting from the first shot where both are visible. To swap them, remove both photos and upload them in the opposite order.
Yes. Each photo is used as a separate appearance reference, so a selfie from one city and a portrait from another work fine. The subjects can even be a pet or a plush toy; they don't need to share one picture.
No. The NEON dance reference and the instructions are already inside the template. You only upload two photos; there is no prompt box and no video upload.
Every clip is 15 seconds in 16:9 landscape, matching the NEON reference. You choose 480p, 720p or 1080p. The length and framing are fixed so the dance lines up with the original timing.
A 15-second video costs 120 credits at 480p, 270 at 720p and 660 at 1080p. The exact cost shows on the Generate button, and failed renders are refunded automatically.
Audio is off by default. Switching it on generates sound with the clip, but it is AI-generated and not guaranteed to be the official NEON recording. For posting, add music you are licensed to use.
Not frame by frame. This is generative video, so likeness, hands and small movements can vary. Clear, well-lit photos of two different people give the most recognizable NEON duo dance.
Use photos of adults who have agreed to it, such as yourself and a friend. Don't use it to impersonate or mislead. NEON Duo Dance is an independent effect and is not affiliated with A2O LITE or A2O Entertainment.
